Farside is an introducer, not a travel agent.
When you submit an enquiry through farside.earth, Farside connects you directly with a specialist operator. We research and select these operators carefully — we only recommend operators we would book ourselves — but once that introduction is made, the booking is directly between you and the operator.
Farside does not take payment from travellers. We do not hold funds, issue tickets, or manage itineraries. We are not party to any booking contract between you and an operator.
Farside earns a referral commission, paid by the operator, when a booking is confirmed. This is disclosed openly on our website and in our agreements with operators. It does not affect the price you pay.
Your booking is with the operator.
All contracts, cancellation policies, refund terms, and liability for the trip sit with the operator you book with. Before paying any deposit, we strongly recommend you read the operator's booking terms and conditions carefully and ensure you understand their cancellation and refund policy.
Farside is not liable for any aspect of the travel experience, including but not limited to cancellations, itinerary changes, operator insolvency, personal injury, loss of property, or any dispute between you and the operator.
We recommend all travellers purchase comprehensive travel insurance, including cancellation, medical, and evacuation cover, before confirming any trip.
What happens after you submit a form.
When you submit an enquiry through farside.earth, your details are logged in Farside's system and forwarded to the relevant operator. You will typically receive a response from the operator within 2 business days. Farside may follow up separately to confirm the introduction was made.
Submitting an enquiry does not commit you to any booking or payment. No funds are collected at the enquiry stage.
Your enquiry details are shared with the operator for the purpose of responding to your request. We do not sell or share your data with third parties for marketing purposes. For full information on how we handle your personal data, contact hello@farside.earth.
How we choose who we recommend.
Farside selects one operator per destination. We research operators through a combination of direct conversation, third-party reviews, and where possible, firsthand experience. We look for operators who have genuine local knowledge, a track record with international travellers, and an approach that aligns with our editorial values: specificity over volume, depth over convenience.
Our recommendations are editorial, not paid placements. Operators do not pay to be featured. The commission arrangement only applies when a booking is confirmed — there is no fee for inclusion.

These terms are governed by the laws of Singapore.
Farside is operated from Singapore. Any disputes arising in connection with Farside's role as an introducer shall be subject to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Singapore.
